Japanese Particle も (mo)
The particle も is used for: Emphasis (As many/much as) (JLPT N5). The particle 'も' (mo) attached after quantities emphasizes that the quantity is surprisingly large or unexpected.
Context Example
昨日十時間[も]寝ました。
Kinou juujikan mo nemashita.
I slept as many as 10 hours yesterday. (Role: Emphasis)
