Japanese Particle に (ni)

The particle is used for: Indirect Object (Recipient) (JLPT N5). The particle 'に' (ni) marks the recipient (indirect object) of transactions involving giving, receiving, teaching, or calling.

Context Example

友達[に]プレゼントをあげました。
Tomodachi ni purezento o agemashita.
