Japanese Particle の (no)

The particle is used for: Subject Marker in Relative Clauses (JLPT N4). In subordinate or relative clauses, the subject marker 'が' (ga) can be optionally replaced by 'の' (no) without changing the meaning.

Context Example

私[の]買った本は面白いです。
Watashi no katta hon wa omoshiroi desu.
The book that I bought is interesting. (Role: Subordinate Subject)
