Japanese Particle と (to)

The particle is used for: Natural Conditional (If / When / Whenever) (JLPT N4). The conjunctive particle 'と' (to) attached to a dictionary form verb indicates a natural, inevitable, or automatic consequence: 'if/when X occurs, Y happens'.
